Hannah House is a 12-18 month residential, Discipleship/Recovery program for women of all ages, recovering from life controlling addictions, i.e. drugs, alcohol, co-dependency, etc.

The women that enter our program are in need of a life changing experience that can only be found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit and the renewing of their minds by the transforming power of God’s Word (The Bible).  The result has overwhelmingly been - CHANGED LIVES!!!

Within our residence:

  • Monday - Friday our day begins at 6:00AM.  By 7:00AM the ladies have gathered in our living room for 15  minutes of Quiet Devotional Time before breakfast (taking our cues from the first four words of the bible, “In The Beginning God.

  • After breakfast we gather in our Chapel for Group Devotions.

  • We gather weekly for Prayer, Praise and Thanksgiving: (Monday Night - Intercessory Prayer, Thursday Night -  Prayer Meeting, Saturday Mornings for Thanksgiving and Praise Chapel.

  • Our residents are also focusing on Self Care (hygiene, health and nutrition, etc.) as well as learning to care for the needs of others.

  • They’re also developing the skills necessary to maintain a household (cooking, cleaning, budgeting, time management, parenting, etc.)

Our residents work side by side each day in love.  They’re  learning:  The importance of submission, how to trust others, building safe relationships, and how to establish proper boundaries.

In our Learning Center the ladies:

  •  Have weekly Bible Studies

  • Have supervised independent study times (called PACES).

  • Group Studies (Foundation Bible Class, Celebrate Recovery, Search For Significance, Breaking Free, etc).

At the Lighthouse Mission, the ladies:

Serve the community by:

  •  Helping to make approximately 200 bologna and cheese sandwiches each week which along with other items will be distributed on the streets of Suffolk County as the Lighthouse Mission feeds the poor in their seven street outreaches (for more information see www.lighthousemission.net .)

  • On Friday our ladies are instrumental in serving the residents of Patchogue by distributing food, toiletries, clothing and other items as the Lighthouse Missions' pantry is opened to the residents of Patchogue.
